‘THE FLAME’

Reading and Loughborough

Fine art bronze maquette.

Commissioned by British Gas, this 7 metre high bronze sculpture is featured at the HQ buildings of British Gas’s Exploration and Production division at Reading (about 40 miles due West of London) and an identical copy stands outside the Research and Development division at Loughborough, in Leicestershire, East Midlands.

At night blue uplighters give it a flame-like glow.

This is one of the highly polished maquettes I produced before the final design was decided upon.
